Wil Wiegant Wil Wiegant was born in Bandung (Indonesia) in 1951. He studied at the academies of Utrecht and Enschede and in 1996 he attended a master class by the German painter Markus Lüpertz. He had exhibitions in Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona, Galeria Nacional de Portugal in Lisbon and in galleries in Amsterdam and New York. Wil Wiegant works on his art in Valle Gran Rey (La Gomera) and Utrecht. In 2011 pieces of art by Wil Wiegant have been purchased for a new museum in Ahrenshoop, Germany. |
